VisionWalk volunteers in bright yellow shirts will be stationed along the main routes to the Bandshell to direct you to where you need to go.

Registration Procedures:

All participants, please check in at the Registration Tent, even if you have pre-registered on the website.

If you have donations with you, please turn them in at the Registration Tent as soon as you arrive. Our great volunteers will help you fill out a registration form and mark down your donation collection. **Please convert all cash into checks before arriving at the Walk.

Everyone who raises $100 or more will receive an official 2012 VisionWalk T-Shirt. We will have shirts available in sizes small through 2XL. The shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis for sizes. Please stop by the T-Shirt Tent early in the day to get your choice of size! New for 2012 - the VisionWalk T-Shirts are now a bright blue!

Walk Route:

We'll follow a well-marked 1.8 mile loop around Central Park. Route Monitors in yellow t-shirts will be standing by to point you in the right direction and to cheer you on!

Runners and Walkers are both welcome although we will not be timing the VisionWalk as a race. Strollers, dogs, and bikes are all welcome!

Remember, this event will take place RAIN or SHINE!

Activities:

VisionWalk is a family friendly event. We will have various activities for children of all ages, including face painting, a bounce house, and much more! Please bring your entire family to join in on the fun and excitement - including our Team Spirit Contest!

You can show your team spirit with matching team t-shirts, team hats or team banners, just to name a few ideas.  The best part is - you are the judge!  We will invite one person from each team to join us on stage for the voting process.  The winner will be determined by your applause. We encourage everyone to participate in the contest and be sure to cheer for your team!

We will also have plenty of snacks and refreshments - including a light post-Walk lunch!
