What is VisionWalk

Watch our Video
VisionWalk Video

VisionWalk is the national signature fundraising event of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Since its inception in the Spring of 2006, the program has raised over $19 million to fund sight-saving research. As promising treatments move into critical human studies, the need for research funding is greater than ever before.

Join the tens of thousands of people who have taken important steps toward a cure by participating in a 5K VisionWalk.  Click on one of the Walks to the right to find out more.

Jane had always done such a good job “faking it” as she says, people still didn’t think she was visually impaired and couldn’t understand why she had a guide dog. “I learned to make good eye contact and adapt so well, I could fool anybody. People are shocked when I tell them I can’t see very well. People think that you are either blind or you aren’t, but there is so much in between.”
