MEET COACH MICHAEL
Coach Michael is affected by a disease called cone-rod dystrophy. He is a trustee of the Foundation Fighting Blindness, USA triathlon certified trainer, and avid, experienced competitive athlete. His personal mission is to assist in the empowerment of those seeking to improve their lifestyles, health, and general wellness through safe, effective, and most important, FUN coaching and training.
Since Michael’s first Ironman in 2003, he has raced 10 Ironman races all over the world (including the famed Ironman Hawaii World Championship), more Half-Ironman races than he can count, and even more running, swimming, cycling, and skiing events. Michael was recently introduced to off-road triathlon racing called “Xterra”, which is now a new passion. During his first year racing Xterra, he won his division at the Mountain Championship Cup, and the USA Championships and the World Championship in Maui where he placed third in his division.
