Fundraising Tools

The best way to raise money for Team Race to Cure Blindness is through the generosity of your friends and family.

Donations made to you through friends and family can be of any size, from cash donations of as little as $1.00 to credit card donations of several hundred, or even several thousand, dollars. Our participants are found success soliciting these donations through letter or email campaigns. Your letter or email should be very personal, speak from the heart, and tell your readers the best way they can support your efforts is by making a donation. Tips for writing a good fundraising letter or email, as well as, samples of successful fundraising letters and emails can be sent to you by contacting Webmaster@FightBlindness.org.

Another powerful way to tell your story is to personalize your Personal Fundraising Page on the Race To Cure Blindness website. Once you've done that you, can upload email addresses and send your friends and family your online webpage ready to receive safe and secure credit card donations. Instructions for setting up your Personal page on the Race to Cure Blindness website and sending out a fundraising email are located in our Starter Packet.

If you have any questions, please contact your local Foundation Fighting Blindness Office.
