POP Eyes, a Point-of-Purchase Campaign
You can help the Foundation Fighting Blindness educate business owners and your local community about the VisionWalk through the POP Eyes "point of purchase" campaign! Businesses have the special opportunity to make a difference for retinal degenerative disease research by selling POP Eyes in their stores. This program can be especially good for January as National Eye Safety Month and June as National Vision Research Month, or during the month preceeding your local VisionWalk.
How do POP Eyes Work?
Store cashiers simply ask customers at the point of purchase to buy a paper POP Eye for $1.00 or more to help support the Foundation Fighting Blindness. The customer then signs his/her name on the POP Eye and employees hang them throughout the store.
Invite local businesses to spread the word about VisionWalk, increase public awareness and help FFB's research efforts by promoting POP Eyes in their store. This fun and profitable promotion typically runs for 4 weeks.
