Personal Fundraising
The Foundation Fighting Blindness’ personal fundraising pages let you create your own web page to personally help fight blindness. Personal fundraising pages are the perfect way to celebrate special occasions, share your story or honor the legacy of a loved one. Once you’ve set up your page, we’ll provide you with some easy-to-use tools to reach out to your family and friends and invite them to join you in supporting our cause. See below to choose the kind of page you would like to create, or to find a friend’s page.

Lillian CartyThis past December, Lillian Carty turned 90 years old.  Her children wanted to do something special in her honor as well as help others.  So they teamed up with the Foundation and created a personal fundraising page.

Here is their story:

On December 16 our wonderful and loving Mother will turn 90 years old. 

In trying to determine what to do to honor her, we decided that there is nothing she would like better than to help others.  So we have set up an account with the Foundation Fighting Blindness in honor of her and her 90th birthday.  Mom is dedicated to finding a cure for her children, grandchildren and all of her family.  We, her children, will celebrate her with a contribution to that account and invite you to do the same.  

Please pause on the 16th and say a little prayer for Mom and the work of the Foundation.  We are all so blessed to have her in our lives.

Through these efforts, the Carty family raised over $3,000 in honor of their mother and toward the Foundation's mission.
