CONGRATULATIONS SOUTHWEST FLORIDA on the success of the 4th Annual VisionWalk at Lakes Regional Park on Saturday, April 17^th!

The weather was absolutely perfect  – clear blue skies and sunny as more than 20 Teams and over 225 walkers enjoyed a great day at the park. 

Many thanks to our Honorary Walk Chair, Jim Farrell of CBS Wink News! We also want to thank our local volunteers; Jim & Brenda Buckley, Sally VanBuskirk, Sis Whennen, Karen Myrick and Sarah Staats for helping to coordinate their teams and get the word out about the event.

So far the Walk has raised over $28,000, and we expect to surpass $30,000 with pending donations. We will keep an eye on that thermometer over the coming weeks, as it will continue to rise!  We will continue to accept donations throughout the next few weeks so please continue to mail them in.
