Congratulations, VisionWalkers!

We did it! This year's VisionWalk was the best attend New York City VisionWalk in our 7 year history. We were out in force with more than 600 walkers and nearly 100 volunteers! Many thanks to everyone who was able to join us on Saturday morning!

Donations collected on Walk Day are still being entered and the amount we have raised for blindness research keeps going up! The thermometer will continue heating up all spring as any donations received before June 30th will count toward this year's goal. Our website will stay live through then for online donations and checks can be mailed to:

The VisionWalk wouldn't have been possible without the leadership of our Walk Chair Michelle Veloce, our Board Chair Nancy Mendelow, our Medical Co-Chairs Dr. Alice Cohen and Dr. Susan Schuettenberg, and our entire VisionWalk Planning Committee. Thanks also to our sponsors, team captains, walkers, donors, volunteers, and vendors. You all played an important role in making the VisionWalk a success. 

Congratulations to our Team Spirit Contest winners! SUNY College of Optometry took home the title of "Most Team Spirit" helped out by their more than 200 cheering walkers. The "Small but Mighty" title went to Yvonne's Eyes. Congratulations to all of our competitors!

Join the VisionWalk All Stars Club!
Every individual who raises $1,000 or more for the New York City VisionWalk will be inducted into the All Stars Club and will receive a commemorative 2013 All Star pin on the day of the Walk.
