The weather was perfect, Shelby Farms was beautiful (if you looked around the construction!), and we set a BUNCH of RECORDS on Saturday! I hope you all had a fun day celebrating the very successful fundraising accomplished this year, and the gathering of good friends within the blind and visually impaired community of the Mid-South.
It is always great to see the friends and families who get together for a fun day at the park. The impressive records our walk broke include number of walkers (522), number of teams (37) and most money raised ($50,000 and growing daily). We are only $4,000 away from our hefty goal, and we have until the end of the year to raise that, so it might just happen! Thanks to all your efforts for such a successful year!
Here are some great photos from our Walk. If you have any more you can share, please send them to Steve and he'll post them.

Your leadership and dedication to the VisionWalk was the driving force behind our success.
For her first time this year, our emcee, Jeni Diprizio from Local 24 News, did a great job on stage and entertaining the walkers.
