8th Annual Cleveland VisionWalk
We had a fantastic day at our 8th Annual Cleveland VisionWalk on Saturday, May 21st! Special thanks to each and every one of you for everything you did to make walk day such a huge success. We brought in over $8,400 on Walk day, and are just $1,694.87 away from reaching our $85,000 goal! Over 320 walkers enjoyed a great day at Cleveland Metroparks - Edgewater Park to celebrate our fundraising efforts in support of the Foundation and the critical research it funds. The rain held off for most of the morning, and even though we got a little soggy after the Walk, everyone enjoyed a fun day and a nice walk along the lakefront!
A very special thank you to Walk Chair John Naples; Family Team Co-Chairs Paula Dubecky & Sandy Krems; Logistics Co-Chairs Diane Burns & Crystal Katsaris; Honorary Chair Steve McMillin; Medical Chair Meghan DeBenedictis, MS, LGC from Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute; Social Networking Chair Frank Petruziello; Youth Chairs Clare, Marty & Annie Dubecky; Chapter President Greg Dubecky, and committee members Rose Coyne, Sue Funk, Dan Greggs, Susan Greggs, Rick LaBondano, Cathy Naples and Amanda Smith. Your leadership and dedication to the VisionWalk was the driving force behind our success!
