The 2nd Annual Western New York VisionWalk was a huge success! More than 300 walkers joined us for a beautiful day in Delaware Park and we had more than 30 volunteers helping us make it a fantastic event. Many thanks to everyone who joined us!
The VisionWalk could not have been possible without the fabulous Walk Chair Sarah Malburg and Medical Co-Chairs Dr. Steven Fliesler and Dr. Jack Sullivan, and our entire planning committee. I want to also thank our volunteer coordinator Gail Pallas and our in-kind and logistics coordinators Jeanette Dean and Chris Szewczyk. Last but not least, thank you to all of our sponsors, donors, team captains, team members, volunteers, and vendors. Each of you are the reason for our success!
Donations collected during the Walk will be added to the total this week, so keep your eye on the thermometer as it continues to rise. We are so close to our goal and will definitely beat it! Donations continue to be collected for the VisionWalk through June 30th and will count towards the goal. The website will stay live through that time and donations can be made online or they can be mailed to:

Walk Day photos will be posted as soon as we have them, so keep checking back to find photos of you and your team! I hope everyone was also able to get a photo with Hysha Robinson, Mrs. New York 2013! We're so grateful that she was able to join us! If you have any photos you would like to share, please contact Katie at KVanbenschoten@FightBlindness.org.
Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the 2nd Annual Western New York VisionWalk! We hope you had as much fun as we did and we're already looking forward to next year!
