St. Louis VisionWalk
We had an awesome day at our 10th Annual St. Louis VisionWalk on Saturday, October 1st! Special thanks to each and every one of you for everything you did to make walk day such a huge success. We brought in over $4,600 on Walk day, bringing our total funds raised to more than $115,000! About 450 walkers enjoyed a great day at Creve Coeur Park to celebrate our fundraising efforts in support of the Foundation and the critical research it funds. The rain held off for most of the morning, and even though we got a little soggy after the Walk, everyone enjoyed a fun day and a nice walk around the lake!
Thank you to our VisionWalk leadership: Walk Co-Chairs Cassie Blackwell & Mary Morgan-Corbitt, Youth Chair Jack Morris, Medical Chair Dr. Rithwick Rajagopal from Washington University Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, Emcee Maurice Drummond from KMOV News St. Louis, Chapter President Jason Morris, and our amazing Walk committee: Laura Abrams, Bob & Jill Morris, Jason & Leslie Morris, Bob Petrofsky, Josh Sisson, Brandon Starkey, and Erika Wolf. Your leadership and dedication to the VisionWalk was the driving force behind our success!
